Certification & Examination Policy

We are committed to maintaining a fair, transparent, and industry-aligned assessment framework that supports learners in building practical skills and validating their knowledge through structured examinations and certifications.

As our programmes vary in duration, structure, and industry specialization, learners are advised to refer to their specific programme details for course-specific timelines and certification requirements.

Eligibility

To become eligible for internal assessments, semester examinations (where applicable), final evaluations, and certifications, learners must fulfill the following minimum requirements:

  • Maintain the minimum attendance percentage specified for their respective programme.
  • Complete all mandatory assignments, projects, case studies, and internal assessments.
  • Achieve the minimum qualifying score as defined under the programme guidelines.
  • Clear prerequisite modules or stages, wherever applicable.

Failure to meet the required academic or attendance standards may result in examination ineligibility.

Registration

Examination Registration

All learners must complete examination registration through the official learner portal or designated process before the announced deadline.

  • Examination schedules and registration windows will be communicated by the academic team.
  • Failure to register within the prescribed timeline may result in postponement to the next available examination cycle.
  • Examination slots are subject to availability and programme structure.

Programme-Specific Timelines

Since Learning Windows offers multiple programmes with varying durations and structures, examination schedules, assessment stages, and certification milestones will differ based on the programme. Learners should follow the academic roadmap shared at the time of enrolment; any changes will be communicated in advance.

Fees

Examination Fee Policy

  • The first attempt for programme examinations is generally included in the course fee unless otherwise specified.
  • Reattempts due to failure, absence, incomplete submissions, or missed examinations may attract additional charges.
  • Third-party certification examination fees (if applicable) will be governed by the respective certification body's fee structure.
  • All examination fees paid are non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Third-Party Certifications

Some programmes may include access to certifications from external organizations, industry partners, or technology providers. The following conditions apply:

  • Third-party certification eligibility depends on programme-specific criteria.
  • Learners may be required to clear internal evaluations before qualifying for sponsored or partnered certification exams.
  • Additional preparation sessions may be mandatory.
  • Learners may need to register on external certification platforms with accurate personal details.
  • Any reattempt fees or rescheduling charges imposed by third-party certification bodies must be borne by the learner.

Learning Windows reserves the right to update, modify, or discontinue any third-party certification partnership at its discretion.

Format

Examination Format

Examinations may be conducted in one or more of the following formats depending on programme requirements:

Rescheduling

Rescheduling & Missed Examinations

  • Once an examination slot is confirmed, rescheduling may not be allowed unless approved under exceptional circumstances.
  • Learners who miss an examination without prior approval may be required to register for the next cycle and pay applicable fees.
  • In case of technical failures or system-related disruptions beyond the learner's control, Learning Windows may provide an additional attempt without extra charges.
Integrity

Remote Proctoring & Verification

For online examinations, Learning Windows may implement AI-assisted or human proctoring to ensure examination integrity. By participating in online assessments, learners agree to:

  • Provide consent for audio/video monitoring.
  • Complete identity verification using a valid government-issued ID.
  • Keep their camera and microphone enabled during the assessment.
  • Follow all examination environment guidelines.

Any violation may result in disqualification.

Reattempts

Reattempt Policy

Learners who do not successfully clear an examination may apply for a reattempt subject to:

  • Availability of the next examination cycle.
  • Payment of applicable reattempt fees.
  • Compliance with updated eligibility requirements (if applicable).

The number of allowed reattempts may vary depending on programme policies.

Academic Integrity

Academic Integrity & Misconduct

Learning Windows maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy against academic dishonesty. The following are prohibited:

  • Cheating or plagiarism
  • Impersonation
  • Unauthorized use of study material during examinations
  • Receiving third-party assistance
  • Use of restricted AI tools or unfair means

Violations may result in:

  • Cancellation of examination results
  • Suspension from certification eligibility
  • Removal from the programme
  • Permanent blacklisting in severe cases
Certification

Certification Issuance

Certificates will be issued only after:

  • Successful completion of all required modules.
  • Clearing all mandatory assessments/examinations.
  • Submission of all projects and practical work.
  • Clearance of any pending dues.

Certification timelines may vary depending on programme and partner requirements.

Liability

Limitation of Liability

While Learning Windows provides training, mentorship, assessments, and certification opportunities:

  • Certification success depends on the learner's preparation and performance.
  • Learning Windows does not guarantee examination clearance, external certification success, internships, or placements solely based on programme enrolment.
  • The organisation is not liable for personal scheduling conflicts, missed deadlines, or learner-side technical issues.

Learning Windows reserves the right to amend, update, or revise this policy at any time to align with academic, operational, industry, or regulatory requirements. Any updates will be communicated through official channels.
